Jen grew up just down the road from District 75 in Northern Davidson County, raised by a single mom and surrounded by hardworking people who did everything they could to get by. From seeing her Vietnam veteran father struggle after his service to watching her mom work long hours to support the family, Jen learned early what working families in our communities face.

For too long, North Carolina’s economy has worked best for corporations and political insiders. Jen is fighting for fair wages, lower costs for families, support for small businesses, and policies that expand access to affordable housing so working people—not special interests—can build stable lives and benefit from our state’s growth.

An Economy that Works for Working People

From Waughtown to Walkertown, every child deserves the same start as kids in Brookberry Farm or Buena Vista. Jen believes strong public schools are the foundation of strong communities. She will fight to fully fund public education, raise teacher pay, and expand access to Pre-K so every child—no matter their ZIP code—has the opportunity to succeed.

Strong Public Schools for Every Child

No one should go broke just trying to stay healthy and your savings account shouldn't be your healthcare plan. Jen supports expanding access to care, strengthening mental health services, supporting veterans, and ensuring people with disabilities have the services, accessibility, and long-term support they need to live with dignity in our communities.

Healthcare People Can Actually Afford

Government should work for people who live here—not corporations, lobbyists, or political insiders. Jen is committed to listening to and representing the voices of North Carolinians, bringing transparency and accountability to Raleigh, and making sure working families have a real seat at the table when decisions are made. She will be clear about how she — and others — are voting.
